Teen threatens to blow up M K Stalin’s house


          A teenager on Sunday made a hoax call to the city police saying he had hidden a bomb at DMK leader M K Stalin’s house. The police picked up the boy who made the call from his father’s mobile phone.
          The police control room received the call at 8pm on Sunday. The caller claimed that the bomb would go off in sometime and hung up. Reacting to the call, the policebeefedup security at Stalin’s residence. A team led by the bomb detection and disposal squad conducted a thorough search and later declared it a hoax. Meanwhile, the police traced the caller, a 17-year-old boy, a native of Koonimedu near Villupuram. The boy was suffering from learning difficulties and was under medication, they said. He had taken his father’s mobile phone without his knowledge and used it.
